Zithromax

Suggested Use: Zithromax is an antibiotic with a macrolide ring. It is often prescribed for an antibacterial therapy and has a good effect both in treatment and prevention of bacterial infections. Before Using This Product: Talk to your physician about the following drugs if you are planning to start taking Zithromax: anticoagulation medicine, drugs for various heart conditions and asthma; HIV medicine; certain antibiotics; drugs for reduction of cholesterol levels in the blood. Tell your physician if you are a kidney or liver patient. Do not take the medicine if you may develop an allergic response to it. If you are an expecting or nursing mother, you should talk to your personal doctor before you take Zithromax. Talk to a medical specialist if you need to know more details about this medication. Prescription: Zithromax is indicated for patients with bacterial infections. Take it with or without a meal. If you have to take medicine for neutralizing acidity in the stomach and that medicine contains aluminum or magnesium, wait for at least one hour after you take Zithromax, and for at least two hours before you take Zithromax. This medication should be kept at indoor temperatures away from children. Do not discontinue taking this medicine before the time that it has been prescribed to you for, as sometimes it takes much longer for the bacteria to be completely eliminated from the body. It is recommended to establish a certain time when you take this medication every day, so you do not accidentally skip a dose. If you use this medicine regularly and you miss one dose, take the medicine as soon as you can. If you missed a dose and it is already time to take another one, do not take two doses of Zithromax at the same time. Take one dose and continue taking it as prescribed. Warnings: Zithromax may cause a mild stomach upset. If this happens to you, talk to your physician to find out which medicine should be used to treat it. Discontinue taking Zithromax and call your physician if you have labored respiration, uncomfortable feelings in the chest, swelling of the face, skin eruption, or other symptoms of adverse reaction. This medication can interact with contraceptives and suppress their action. If you have to undergo a treatment with Zithromax, use extra means of contraception. It may appear in the form of upset stomach, retching, or pain in the stomach. If you have difficulty hearing things or you hear ringing in the ears, call your physician immediately. If you experience any other adverse reaction, tell your medical specialist about it and discontinue using Zithromax. Overdose: You are most likely to overdose if you take too much medicine or you forgot that you already took it. If you feel nauseous, sick or you have an upset stomach, call for emergency assistance as soon as you can.
